Double Latin triumph for Chafyn pupils
TWO teams from Salisbury’s Chafyn Grove School triumphed at the Salisbury Classical Orations held at St Mary’s School in Shaftesbury.
Pupils from years 6 and 7 won first and second prizes in the Junior Latin Play category, in which they had to learn a short play in Latin to be performed for a judge.
They were marked for their dramatic flair as well as their pronunciation.
