Chance to meet former racing dogs
GREYHOUND Rescue West of England (GRWE) is inviting shoppers to meet former racing dogs this weekend.
The charity will be at the Pets at Home Store, Southampton Road, on Saturday (March 16) with volunteers available to talk to people about their work and about rehoming greyhounds and lurchers.
Spokesman Stuart Parslow said: “Our dogs are wonderful companions, invariably give such love and loyalty, and come with the promise of support from the GRWE family.”
The charity will be at the store from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
