NEW Forest Primary School are the Wiltshire Hockey Champions for the first time.

They qualified for the finals at Swindon last week after winning the Salisbury District trophy for the second year running.

The event includes seven-a-side matches of ten minutes in duration with rolling substitutes and a rule that there must be three girls on your team at any one time.

In the final New Forest beat Ramsbury 4-1 thanks to a hat-trick from Matt Loveday and a goal from Ellie Balysz. Earlier Chloe Hayward and Josh Harwood scored in the semi-final victory over Robert Le Kyng Primary.

New Forest conceded just three goals during their six matches at Swindon.
