Shedea cuts long locks for charity
A 15-YEAR-OLD girl has had her long locks cut for charity and to help make wigs for cancer patients.
Shedea Wright donated her hair to the Little Princess Trust which makes real hair wigs for people who lose their hair due to chemotherapy treatment.
The haircut took place during a fun day held at Beau hairdressers in Salisbury on Saturday.
“I have decided to give my hair to someone who needs it more than I do,” said Shedea.
“I have had very long hair for many years and am excited at taking on this challenge.”
Shedea raised more than £230 in sponsorship and hopes her final total will be even higher.
Hairdresser Louisa Rackham cut Shedea's hair for free and has donated her tips to the cause for the past few weeks.
