Pets and their owners flock to Ashley Heath dog show
SCORES of dogs and their owners beat a path to the RSPCA’s Ashley Heath Centre for its dog show.
Organisers are hoping lots of money was raised after they laid on a feast of fun, with a craft fair, classes for the dogs and games and stalls.
Deputy manager Gaynor Cannings said: “We were all very pleased with our dog show and craft fair.
“It was a great day, which was well attended by both people and their canine friends.
“We were pleased people were not deterred by the morning’s showers and came along to enjoy the fun.
“The have-a-go agility proved very popular this year, both with competitors and spectators. It was also great to see dogs that have been adopted from the centre coming back to visit and seeing how happy and settled they are with their new owners.
“I'd like to thank the public and volunteers for their support and making the day a success. All money raised at the event can go towards our continued fight against animal cruelty and neglect.”
