Tune in to PCC meeting
IS crime related to the night-time economy rising? What plans are in place to deal with the demands of policing the night-time economy? Should policing the night-time economy be the sole responsibility of the police, or should businesses and organisations that benefit from it also contribute?
These are some of the questions that Commissioner Simon Hayes will put to Hampshire Constabulary’s Chief Constable Andy Marsh during today’s COMPASS (Commissioner’s Performance, Accountability, Scrutiny and Strategy) meeting.
The meeting is hosted by the Winchester News Online team from the journalism department at Winchester University.
It will be recorded as live and made available for viewing on the Commissioner’s website via hampshire-pcc.gov.uk at 7pm this evening.
The bi-monthly COMPASS meetings are a forum for the Commissioner to publicly hold the chief constable to account on behalf of the public.
