VIDEO chain Blockbuster is set to disappear from Ringwood after administrators were unable to find a buyer for the business.
Dozens of jobs are to go locally as the DVD and video rental chain shuts its remaining 91 branches.
Blockbuster had 264 stores and a 2,000-strong workforce when it went into administration last month for the second time.
Many had shut before administrators from Moorfields Corporate Recovery signalled last week that no acceptable offers had been received for the remaining premises.
The company had already been rescued in March from an earlier administration.
The Bournemouth branches to survive that crisis were at Westover Retail Park in Castle Lane West, Poole Road in Westbourne and Holdenhurst Road.
Poole had branches in Ashley Road, Parkstone, and Wimborne Road, Oakdale. Christchurch had a branch at Bargates and Ringwood at Southampton Road.
At the time of its initial collapse in January, Blockbuster had 528 stores in the UK.
