A CHILDREN’S author hopes that a new book about a little boy and his dog will help to attract more children to Salisbury Cathedral, the city’s museum and the surrounding Cathedral Close.
Richard Morgan, chairman of Salisbury Museum Fundraising Committee and a regular contributor to the Journal’s opinion pages, has written Scurry Goes to Salisbury, about a small, brown dog and his master, Caspar who the close and its buildings and learn all about its history.
Illustrated by Sarah McMenemy, the book is available from the tourist information centre, the museum, the cathedral, Waterstones and Fifty Six (by the cathedral’s main gate) as well as on Amazon.
Scurry also has his own Facebook page called Scurry-Goes-To-Salisbury.
