FUN activities for families and children will be provided at Salisbury Cathedral over the February half term and at the start of the Easter holidays in April.

During half term, on Wednesday, February 19 from 10.30am to noon, there’s will be the Fascinating Faces trail to follow and then the opportunity to create a face from your own imagination out of clay to take home using a range of clay techniques and tools.

This is a drop-in event, suitable for children aged five to 12. It costs £3 per child (parents free). All materials are provided.

There will also be Outdoor Energy sessions in the cloisters on April 8 and 10 from 10.30am to noon.

This will be a free orienteering trail, which involves the public areas in the Close, followed by an outdoor craft working with willow. It is £3 per child (parents free), and all materials are provided.

And on Wednesday, April 9, from 10.30am to noon and 1.30pm to 3pm, there will be a Race against Time when children aged five to 12 years are invited to dress up in medieval period costumes provided by the cathedral and take part in a group treasure hunt with fun problem solving activities.
