A MARKET selling pre-loved and new items for babies and children is taking place in Salisbury on February 1.

The event is being organised by Michelle Kuberka and Jacqui Rowe, who want to broaden the opportunities for recycling and reusing lightly worn baby and children’s items in Salisbury.

They hope to reduce the amount of ‘baby waste’ that goes to landfill and support parents financially by reducing the costs of baby and children’s items.

The market takes place at Sarum Academy from 10am until noon and there will also be entertainment from Girls Love Fit, Hartbeeps, Aspire Martial Arts, and a bouncy castle from Jumparoo.

There will be 50 goody bags to give away with gifts from JoJo Maman Bebe, Hipp, Plum, Beaming Baby, Kiddylicious and Cleverpops.

A raffle is also taking place in aid of Salisbury District Hospital Stars Appeal’s Little Lives Fund, with prizes from City Hall, Finkley Down Farm, Wilton House, Jumparoo, Boscombe Down Aviation and Cupcake Heaven.
