SPORTING activities are on offer for children at Camp Active in Salisbury this half term. The school holiday camp is being held at Manor Fields Primary School from February 17 to 21 for children aged five to 11.

It offers a mix of sports including tag rugby, basketball, football and badminton.

Camp Active is run by Salisbury City Council and costs £15 a day, with multiple bookings receiving a ten per cent discount, or 20 per cent if all days are booked.

The council’s community sports coaches, Ben Coombes and Matt Williams have a busy year ahead delivering sporting activities to a range of community groups across the city, including after school clubs and youth clubs.

They also work with older people and those with disabilities.
