AN Amesbury man was left with facial injuries after being assaulted in the town. The assault happened in an alleyway near Earls Court Road at about 4am on January 1.
The victim, a 28-year-old man, required hospital treatment for facial injuries. A 22-year-old local man has been arrested in connection with the assault and released on police bail pending further inquiries.
