CHILDREN from Semley School travelled to the O2 in London to join 7,000 other primary school children at the Young Voices concert.
There were more than 20,000 people in the arena for the concert, which included street dance troupe Urban Strides and performances by X Factor finalist Stacey Solomon alongside the children's choir. The concert included a range of music, from folk to pop medleys.
Headteacher Liz Moorsom said: “This was an exhilarating experience for the children that they will never forget. “It was made extra special by their commitment to the event and learning their songs. They performed amazingly and with huge enthusiasm.
“It was made possible by the hard work and organisation of the staff at Semley School. What a wonderful day for us all.”
