THE British Heart Foundation is calling on Wiltshire runners to join the fight against heart disease.
The charity is organising its second annual Longleat Half Marathon on March 16 and is urging people to sign up now so they don’t miss out on a place as entries are going fast.
More than 1,000 people will take part in the event, run around 13.1miles of the Longleat Estate starting and finishing by the historic house and giving runners the chance to see some spectacular wildlife.
Entry costs £23 and is open to anyone aged 17 or over. The fee covers the costs of the events so runners are urged to raise as much money as possible. All abilities are welcome but training beforehand is strongly recommended. To sign up call 0845 130 8863, go to bhf.org.uk/longleat or email events@bhf.org.uk.
