A SCHEME teaching children how to safely ride motorcycles has had to stop operating after two off road motorcycles were stolen from a Salisbury garage.

The red and white Honda 230F Motocross bikes were stolen from a lock up in Down Barn Road between 5pm on Wednesday and noon on Friday.

Until the bikes are recovered the training programme will not be able to continue.

The bikes were imported from Brazil, both had missing baffles from the exhausts and one had a Huckley Bridge Events sticker on the front.

Anyone with information about the burglary or the location of the bikes is asked to contact PC Lucy Thorne of Salisbury Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
