TWO men have been arrested after a bag was snatched from an elderly man as he walked through the underpass at the top of St Ann Street in Salisbury.
The incident happened at about 9pm on Monday, February 24 when the man was approached by two men riding bikes.
One of the men snatched a blue canvas bag containing a black umbrella, four books and a black wallet.
Two local men, aged 21 and 25, were arrested on suspicion of theft and subsequently released on police bail pending further inquiries. Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Jem Horner of Salisbury Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
