Woman, 93, targeted by distraction burglars

A 93-YEAR-OLD woman was targeted by distraction burglars in Salisbury.

On Friday a man went to the elderly woman’s home in Elm Grove at about 2pm and asked her about a missing cat.

He talked his way into the house and then told the victim he would do some gardening work for her.

She handed over between £100 and £150 in cash, and the man left with the money.

The suspect is described as white, aged 50 to 60, about 5ft 11ins tall and of large build. He was bald, had a very pale complexion and was dressed scruffily.
