LIFESAVING skills will be demonstrated at a village hall next Monday, after a defibrillator was bought for the community.

The Hale village community defibrillator, installed in December, will be demonstrated at 7.30pm.

The defibrillator was funded by the Hale Transition Group using money raised at the monthly local food markets in the village hall.

The defibrillator awareness session will be run by Community Heartbeat Trust, a charitable organisation which, as well as supplying the defibrillator, also provides training to members of the public in life-saving skills.

There will be members from a wide range of community groups and village hall users attending.
