A TEENAGER was assaulted in The Maltings, Salisbury, on April 4.
A 17-year-old local girl was walking near The Works at about 10am when a man pushed her into the doorway of the Sue Ryder shop and she hit her head on the doorframe.
She suffered a minor facial injury and was left very shaken by the incident.
A 30-year-old man from Salisbury has been arrested on suspicion of assault and is currently on bail pending further inquiries.
It is believed that an elderly woman witnessed the incident and officers would particularly like to hear from her as she may have important information to assist the investigation.
Anyone who has information is asked to contact local crime investigator Chris Bevan at Salisbury Police Station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
