A THOUSAND members of the Scouting movement will descend on Salisbury Arts Centre grounds on Sunday April 27 to celebrate England’s patron saint, St George.

Anyone is welcome to join in the fun of the fete with traditional games, a tombola and cakes from 1pm to 4pm. And the organisers say watch out – there’ll be dragons about.

During the afternoon the youngsters from all across south Wiltshire will be renewing their promises.

The event will benefit Lucy’s Day Out.
