A SCARECROW competition is being run at the New Forest & Hampshire County Show this year.
The Forest Fun Factory section will offer people the chance to win an array of prizes under the theme of ‘reduce, reuse and recycle’.
The Forest Fun Factory is an area of the showground which has a children’s fun zone, dance displays, circus workshop and has entertainment on the stage all day.
The idea is to use recycled materials to make the scarecrow wherever possible and if new materials are used then they should be able to be recycled or reused. There are three categories for the design which are animals, sports and superheroes.
To enter, an entry form must be sent to aaron.lawford@regentasset.co.uk by July 25.
The scarecrows need to be brought to the showground on Sunday, July 27 between noon and 2pm and judging will take place that afternoon.
