FURRY friends at the Dogs Trust Salisbury need kind people to donate blankets and towels to keep them cosy.
There are about 70 dogs and puppies at the Newton Tony rehoming centre at any one time and more bedding is needed, with anything from pillows and cushions to duvets and dog beds more than welcome.
Jacinta Browne, rehoming centre manager, said: “We are absolutely desperate for any bedding and towels people are able to give us, so do think of us if you are having a spring clean. As you can imagine we get through a lot of bedding daily and have a severe shortage at the moment. As we have dogs of all shapes and sizes and of all ages, a variety of blankets and towels would be ideal, the fluffier and warmer the better.”
If you are able to donate bedding to the centre, you can drop them off at the centre in Amesbury Road, Newton Tony, or the charity shop on Crane Street in Salisbury.
