YOUNGSTERS from Dinton Primary School enjoyed a day out on a farm.

Children from Puffins class went to Cholderton Charlie’s Farm where they saw lots of animals including lambs, piglets and chicks.

They were able to feed and stroke many them, and they also enjoyed pig racing.

Highlights of the day included a ride around the farm on a tractor, and a nature trail.

Puffins class teacher Alex Hill said: “We found various wild flowers, seeds, leaves and even some bones hidden deep in the woodland. A fun day was had by all and we are very grateful to all of those super parents and grandparents who spent the day with us and helped to transport the children.”
