A CHARITY that provides custom made equipment for people with disabilities is looking for new projects in the Salisbury area.
Engineers and craftsman from REMAP have been adapting all kinds of everyday equipment to help people live independent lives for more than 30 years.
They work on a range of projects including adding a long lever to the shower tap to help those with arthritis, or enabling a help dog to open a gate for a wheelchair user.
But after helping more than 800 people, the charity has almost no work due to a lack of projects. Most of the jobs are undertaken free or to cover expenses.
