ACTION for Blind People is looking for knitting and sewing enthusiasts to help make Christmas decorations to raise money for the charity at this year’s Salisbury Christmas Market.

The charity is taking a chalet at the market for the day to promote its work and raise funds.

Decorations can be any size, shape or colour. All ideas and suggestions will be warmly welcomed and very gratefully received.

Natalie Hargreaves, area fundraising manager, said: “We are thrilled to be given the opportunity to promote ourselves and help raise vital funds needed to support local people experiencing sight loss.

"We hope this is something that will be of interest to a local group or individual and would be delighted to hear from anyone who can help.”
