POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Wilton Road, Salisbury on Monday. Two young men forced a car to stop in the road at about 6pm, and one of the men punched the bonnet while the other threatened the driver.
The driver, a 61-year-old local man was not injured in the incident.
The suspects are described as white, in their mid 20s, of slim build and with short hair. One was wearing a bright yellow short sleeved t- shirt with red writing and the other a dark coloured t-shirt.
Two local men aged 24 and 26 have been arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and criminal damage respectively. Both have been released on bail pending further inquiries.
