CHARITIES that would like a year’s support from a supermarket’s fundraising are being urged to put their bids in.
Sainsbury’s in Ringwood supports a local charity each year and now customers can vote for their favourite local charity until June 8, with the chosen charity announced in July. From next Wednesday customers will be able to vote either instore or at www.sainsburys.co.uk/localcharity.
After voting closes, a shortlist of nominations will be drawn up and staff will then invite the three charities that they feel best fit the needs of the community into the store to talk about how Sainsbury’s can support them.
