GIRLS’ Brigade members in Amesbury celebrated a year of achievement at an open day held at the Methodist Church last Tuesday.
The youngsters were presented with their proficiency awards from the year, and Leanne Peck was given the Brigader Brooch – the highest Girls’ Brigade award for badge work.
The children then put on a musical of the Pied Piper in the presence of the Mayor of Amesbury John Bright, his deputy Ian Mitchell and Clive Barnwell, president of the town’s Rotary Club.
