A TRAINING session was held at Hudson’s Field in Salisbury on Sunday ahead of Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life on June 29.
The annual fundraising event sees women and girls of all shapes and sizes and all fitness levels take part in a 5k walk or run to raise money for the charity.
Training sessions are being held at Hudson’s Field on Sundays until the event, meeting at the Salisbury Rugby Club car park by 10.25am. Last year, 2,313 women took part in the Salisbury Race for Life and raised £115,825. This year, organisers want 2,400 women and girls to take part and help raise £120,000.
