THE King’s Head Inn in Salisbury is closing for a 12-day refurbishment project.
The Wetherspoon pub, in Bridge Street, will close after trading on Saturday and reopen on June 27 at 11am.
More than £1m is set to be spent on upgrading and refurbishing the hotel and pub.
The work will include full redecoration of the hotel, including new bedroom furniture and new bathrooms for all 33 en suite hotel rooms.
The pub will also undergo full redecoration, with new tables and a redesign of the pub beer garden, including new furniture.
Lisa Coombes, pub and hotel manager, said: “We will be looking forward to welcoming customers back to a new-look premises and are confident that they will be impressed by the refurbishment work.”
