A TEENAGER was sexually assaulted in an incident in Salisbury city centre.
The 18-year-old was attacked by a man while in the Maltings area of the city, close to Sainsbury’s car park between 4.45pm to 5.45pm on Saturday, June 14.
A 53-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested and has been charged with sexual assault.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court on July 11.
This area will have been busy with shoppers and those using the car park and the nearby LA Fitness centre and police are appealing for anyone who saw the incident or anything suspicious to come forward.
