A LUCKY dip, cream teas and a giant inflatable slide were all part of the fun at Dinton Primary School’s summer fete on Friday.
The children had a chance to learn some circus skills, play giant outdoor snakes and ladders and discover how difficult it is to throw a welly boot in a straight line.
The various stalls, which sold books, plants and toys, were bustling as families made the most of the sunny weather.
And the usual fete favourites, the raffle and tombola, proved popular. This year’s event, organised by Friends of Dinton School, Wiltshire, raised almost £750, which will go towards funding outings and activities at the school
