HUNDREDS of visitors enjoyed the sunshine at a special solstice fair in the New Forest.
Ringwood Waldorf School hosted its popular summer fair – now in its 40th year – on Saturday – the longest day of the year.
This solstice spectacular saw people entertained by live music throughout the day, market stalls selling beautiful handicrafts and fresh summer food, puppet shows for the children and flower garland making.
The event was opened by the teacher founder of the school, Christine Polyblank.
School administrator Nigel Revill said: “We were delighted to see so many people come to our summer fair.
“We’re now in our 40th year and the event just keeps getting better and better. We had 30 stalls selling a wide-range of hand-made goods and live music in the school field.
“The weather was glorious and it really was a perfect way of welcoming in the summer.”
