A VINTAGE Victorian tea party welcomed visitors to Laverstock Care Home on National Care Home Open Day.
The London Road home used the event as an opportunity to invite the neighbours around for tea and cake.
Helpers at the event included volunteer students from St Edmund’s Girls’ School, Salisbury, who served tea and decorated fairy cakes for the party.
Live entertainment was provided by volunteers, and activities coordinator Barry Pentelow played the piano.
Many residents from the community attended including members of St Mark’s Church and representatives from the local Parkinson’s Association.
