THE Rotary Club of Ringwood is to raise funds to help fight the Ebola crisis in Sierra Leone.
The target is to raise cash for an isolation unit at the children's clinic in the town of Bo. On November 14, club volunteers will be in The Furlong and at the Meeting House collecting money.
Rotarians Caroline Millman and Alistair Stokes were in Sierra Leone earlier this year to help develop a project in liaison with Ringwood-based Tools for Self Reliance, Bo Rotary Club and Craftshare.
Trevor Williams, spokesman for the club, said: “There will also be collection points in Lunn’s Newsagents, Miller’s Antiques and HSBC.”
