THE Furlong shopping centre in Ringwood will play host to a magical winter wonderland this Christmas.
A traditional grotto will be full of classic wooden toys, giant baubles, fairy lights and vintage decorations, complemented outside with a snow-filled winter wonderland.
Children will be greeted and entertained by Santa’s cheeky elves providing memorable photo opportunities.
Snow will fall around the grotto and games will be provided to passers-by.
These will include snowball throwing at mini snowmen, penguin racing and a Christmas pudding egg and spoon race.
The family event is being subsidised by all the stores of The Furlong shopping centre and the entry fee will serve to cover the cost of the gifts.
Entry to the magical grotto will cost £3.50 per child, including a gift plus a sprinkling of magical reindeer dust.
Opening times for the wonderland are Friday, December 12, 3.30-6pm; Saturday, December 13, 10am-noon and 1pm-4pm and Sunday, December 14, 10am-12pm and 1pm-4pm.
