HUNDREDS of people visited Salisbury Museum at the weekend to enjoy an event that celebrates the magic of Christmas.
The free event for families involved festive trails, Christmas crafts and real reindeer on the front lawn.
Louise Tunnard from the museum said: “We had a family of reindeer that flew in from the North Pole along with Santa and his helpers.
“We also took part in the Save the Children paper chain, making links to take down to the Christmas market at the end of the day.
“Children were able to have their picture taken with Santa in his sleigh and two little elves turned up which was lovely.”
A quartet from the Salisbury City Band of the British Legion played carols while there was also a children’s entertainer.
