THERE will be Roman fun for all the family at Old Sarum Castle this bank holiday weekend.
Children will be able to meet the doctors, cooks, tradesmen and townsfolk of Roman Britain and come face to face with the military men who passed through the ancient city.
Authentic Roman cavalry will also be on display as well as chariot warfare and the warriors of Rome alongside their camps and entertainments, including gladiators, slaves and Roman medical technology.
Site Manager Naomi Matthews said: “This event is going to be really great fun and we’re inviting children of all ages to come along and be a Roman champion for the day.”
