A 70-YEAR-OLD cyclist who suffered severe head injuries after a hit-and-run in Fordingbridge has died.
The pensioner from Salisbury was involved in the incident almost a month ago.
The man sustained serious injuries after a collision, in which another driver failed to stop, on the A338 at Fordingbridge at 9.20am on April 28.
He passed away on Wednesday.
Police are appealing for information to help trace the van driver involved.
A van, which was caught on CCTV, is believed to have been the one involved in the collision.
Hampshire Constabulary have confirmed the registration of the white Ford Transit flatbed van is BU53 FVM.
The cyclist was rushed to Southampton General Hospital for immediate treatment but died from his injuries.
