AN IMPRESSIONIST from Salisbury has mimicked his way into the semi-finals on ITV show Britain’s Got Talent.

Craig Ball, who grew up in Harnham and went to Trafalgar School, was chosen for the live shows after wowing the judges with his impressions.

He will now go before the public vote tomorrow in the final live semifinal bidding for a place in the final.

Winners of the show perform at the Royal Variety Performance in front of the Queen as well as scooping £500,000 in prize money.

During his audition he impersonated Mickey Mouse, Kermit the Frog and characters from the TV show Family Guy whilst singing Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus.

Craig said: “People have been telling me for ages that I should audition so I thought I would go for it this year.

"The reaction I’ve had since my audition has been mental.

“I’m over the moon to have got through to the live shows – I still can’t quite believe it. I’m so grateful for everyone who is rooting for me right now and for the support from all of my family and friends.”
