A MAN was cut free from the wreckage of a van on the A345 near Amesbury this morning.
Fire crews from Amesbury and Salisbury attended the accident which involved a Land Rover Discovery and a Mercedes van, which had tipped onto its side.
Police were called at 10.45am.
The driver of the van complained of back pain, although his injuries were not believed to be life changing.
He was taken to hospital for a check-up.
Temporary road closures were in place while the van was righted.
The road was cleared by just after midday.
