THE Rockbourne Fair raised £45,000 for the Stars Appeal.
The annual shopping fair which takes place at Salisbury Racecourse involved a total of 99 stalls and attracted about 3,500 people.
A spokesman for the Rockbourne Fair Committee said: "We have yet to finalise the accounts but are looking at a donation to the Stars Appeal of more than £45,000 - and very proud of that we are too.
"It has been hard work for the committee, Sandra Price, Jane Corani and Geoff Corani.
"It is always fun meeting and greeting those attending, building relationships with the stallholders and in finding the right balance between the two groups.
"Planning for next year has already started."
