TWO cars crashed near Tesco on the A36 at around 4.30pm yesterday, partially blocking the road.
A blue BMW 330D and a green Land Rover Defender were involved.
The Highways Agency were called to deal with oil spillage on the road.
The road re-opened at about 6.50pm.
Both drivers were taken to Salisbury District Hospital as a precaution.
A spokesman for the South Western Ambulance Service said at the time: "There is nothing to suggest it is serious, that's all we can say for now."
