THE Indian community of Coombe Bissett celebrated New Years Eve in style cooking a variety of delicacies to mark the occasion.
More than 20 families attended, and 75 people overall at the Village Hall.
The event started with musical chairs, followed by a selection of the best dressed men and women of the year theme.
A spectacular dance performance of Indian songs from the 1970's came soon after, with the winners being granted the privilege of cutting the New Year cakes.
To top the night off, all guests participated in a Bollywood disco.
Due to the success of the party, and the interest shown by participants, the organisers have said they may plan similar events in the future.
