A MAN has been charged with attempted murder after a crash in Wilton on Friday night.
A 34-year-old Salisbury man has been charged following the crash at Wilton Kingsway on the A36 at about 4.30pm on January 6.
A young woman was taken to Southampton Hospital with a leg injury after being trapped in one of the vehicles. She is in a stable condition.
Police closed part of the A36 after the accident, involving a van and a Skoda, and the air ambulance was seen flying over the area just after 5pm.
The man has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Swindon Magistrates Court today (Monday, January 9).
