A TREE-MENDOUS effort from the community has helped to raise £2,200 for Salisbury Hospice Charity.
The money was raised as part of the charity's new Christmas tree recycling service, which was supported by Just Helping.
More than 215 Christmas trees were collected for recycling.
The hospice has thanked everyone who made the scheme a success and say it would not have been possible without the support from volunteers, Public Health England, CB Skips, U-Drive and Ockenden Tree Services.
It hopes to grow the scheme next year.
Katie Hughes, the community fundraiser for Salisbury Hospice Charity, said: “Every donation really does go a long way towards helping us plan for the future and continue to support the vital work of the hospice.”
