THE home of former prime minister Sir Edward Heath is to re-open to the public after its winter closure.
Arundells will open its doors on Saturday, March 18.
The new season will feature exhibitions, more rooms being opened to the public, and a series of special events, including an open air production of Pride and Prejudice in June, and ‘Heath at 100: A life in cartoons’, which will run from April 18 to May 31.
The Sir Edward Heath Foundation chairman Lord Hunt said the team at Arundells had great confidence and optimism for the year ahead.
He said: “We continue to open new rooms in the house and have a strong roster of events and exhibitions, drawing on the key elements of the Arundells experience- art, music, international relations, politics and sailing.”
The next event held by Arundells will be ‘Memories of Flanders & Swann and Cabaret Time’.
Admission to the house costs £7, with guided tours £10.
