A DRUNK smashed a shop window with a wheelie bin before urinating into the shop.
At Salisbury Magistrates Court on Friday (March 17), Ryan Taylor, 20, was ordered to pay compensation after pleading guilty to damaging a shop in Salisbury.
The court heard that on the morning of January 21, Taylor and a friend had been walking down Pennyfarthing Street after a night out, when one of the men overturned a wheelie bin outside KAPOW tattoo studio.
Prosecuting, James Burnham said this was when Taylor began to kick a bin into the shop window until the frame gave way.
The 20-year-old was then seen urinating through the hole caused by the damage by two neighbours who confronted the men after being woken by the noise.
When interviewed by police, Taylor said he did not recall the incident, and only remembered waking up in the police car on the way to the station.
Defending, Matthew George said his client still has no recollection, "even to this day".
"He has no grudge with the tattoo shop.
"He was very stupid and he is revolted with his actions.
"He is ashamed of his actions that night."
Magistrates ordered Taylor, of Woodside Road, Salisbury, to pay £1,296 in compensation to KAPOW.
