A MAN in his 60s was assaulted by another man after telling him to stop urinating in a doorway in Salisbury city centre.
The victim was walking along Pennyfarthing Street when he spotted a man urinating in a doorway between 11.15pm and 11.45pm on Wednesday, July 12.
The victim called out for the man to stop, the man then walked towards the victim and assaulted him by pushing him aggressively a number of times, he then followed the victim as he tried to get away.
Police say the victim was very shaken but uninjured.
A picture of a man officers would like to speak to in relation to this incident has been released.
PC Martyn Powell said: "We'd like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in this part of the city late on this Wednesday evening.
"If you recognise the man in the photograph or can help with our enquiries in any way, please contact us."
