A VANDAL smashed the window of a moving car with a stone fired from a catapult.
It happened yesterday (November 8) at about 8.50pm in Portway, Old Sarum.
A 17-year-old boy was driving a red Nissan Micra at the junction with Partridge Way, when a stone smashed the front passenger window, landing in the lap of a 49-year-old man.
The window was completely smashed and the driver and passenger sustained minor cuts
Special Police Constable Michael Wells said: "The force caused the entire window to smash.
"I am looking for any witnesses who may have seen anything suspicious or saw anyone with a catapult in this area around this time."
